The Power of Conferences: Insights and Innovations in Property Marketing

Our Journey Through Attending Key Conferences This Year

Co-Living Conference: Energy and Enthusiasm in a Growing Sector

We attended the Co-Living Conference, a gathering that radiated energy and enthusiasm for this flourishing sector. The highlight was a panel featuring actual residents, providing authentic insights into their experiences and expectations. This conference highlighted the importance of co-living spaces in resolving Europe’s housing challenges. The forward-thinking approaches prevalent throughout the event left us inspired and more committed to being part of this dynamic solution.

ICEF: Understanding the Global Student Housing Crisis

Our year began with the International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF) conference, an eye-opening experience that broadened our understanding of the student housing crisis from a global perspective. The diverse representation of universities at ICEF highlighted the universal nature of these challenges, offering a unique platform for sharing knowledge and collaboratively crafting solutions. We gained invaluable insights into how different cultures and regions are addressing similar issues in student accommodation. We also noticed that not many UK universities attended the conference. We think these universities would really benefit from learning about and helping to solve these common problems. Their involvement could bring valuable contributions to tackling the student housing crisis globally.

Class Foundation: Networking and Connection at the Core

The Class Foundation conference was a masterclass in networking and building meaningful connections. Its design fostered an environment where attendees could effortlessly engage over common issues and potential solutions. For us at TPMS, this conference was not just about attending another industry event; it was an opportunity to forge new partnerships and strengthen existing ones. The focus on collaboration and connection made this conference a standout in our calendar.

In addition to attending conferences, we also played an active role in moderating or presenting at several key events, each proving to be equally beneficial. These included the LD Events Property Student Housing Conference, which focused on the latest trends in student housing. At the Information Management Network (IMN) B2R UK, we discussed broader property issues. The Co-Living Conference allowed us to delve into shared living spaces. The SHURE Initiative and The Class Foundation Conference provided platforms for discussing sustainable housing solutions. We also contributed to the CUBO College and University Business Officers Winter Conference, where we explored business strategies in the educational sector. Furthermore, our participation in the ADP Architecture x Love Interiors event gave us insights into the latest in property design. Lastly, we presented at the Property Week Student Accommodation conference, sharing our expertise in student property markets.

Why Conferences Matter To Us

  • Learning and Development

Conferences provide a platform to deepen our understanding of the property sector. They offer fresh perspectives and insights that are crucial for staying ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.

  • Collaboration on Common Issues

These events are not just about listening to experts; they're about engaging in dialogues that matter. Collaborating on industry issues helps us find common ground and innovative solutions.

  • Networking: Finding New Collaborative Avenues

Networking is not just about expanding our contact list; it’s about finding new ways to work together. These conferences have opened doors to collaborations that we might never have considered otherwise.

  • Presenting New Findings

Conferences are the perfect venue to present new research and findings, contributing to the collective knowledge of the industry.

  • Brand Awareness

Being present at these conferences is crucial for brand visibility. It’s a statement that we're active, engaged, and a part of the larger conversation.

Attending these conferences has been invaluable. They're not just events; they are incubators for ideas, partnerships, and strategies that drive our industry forward. We've made at least 5 or 6 new connections at each of these events, which is significant for our network and potential collaborations. We're excited to bring these learnings and new relationships into our work and continue contributing to the ever-evolving world of property marketing.

If you're in need of marketing your property and wish to explore fresh, effective strategies, we'd be more than happy to chat.
